FOUNDER STORY
It started with a dislocated knee.
Full ACL tear. Torn meniscus. The kind of injury that ends one chapter whether you're ready or not. Football was off the table, and for the first time in years, I had to find another way to play.
In July 2024, I picked up a padel racket for the first time. By the second session I was hooked. The footwork, the angles, the strategic aspect of it, it scratched the same itch football had, but harder, faster, more tactical.
Then I started looking at the market.
Rackets were expensive. Stupidly expensive. £200, £300, £400 for a beginner just didn't make sense. That's where the first idea hit, build a brand offering affordable rackets that didn't gatekeep new players out of the sport.
I couldn't execute. Manufacturing rackets at scale takes capital I didn't have yet.
So I looked again.
The clothing was worse than the rackets.
Hear this though, I'm the type of person who plays better when I look good. Wearing the right gym kit makes me train harder. Wearing the right boots made me play better. Kit isn't just kit, it's mindset. It's confidence. It's the thing that flips the switch before you even step on the court.
So when I looked around at padel? Nothing did that.
Every brand on every court was selling the same thing, bland tennis crossover kit, super polished corporate imagery, recycled designs that had nothing to do with how the game actually feels in London. No grit. No identity. No expression. Nothing that made me feel like I was about to play harder.
That was the gap.
PadelDrip was built to fill it.
Designed in London. Built for the grit.
Every piece is engineered for the way the city plays, high-grade moisture-wicking fabric, an Action-Cut for full 360° court movement, and aesthetics ripped from London streets, not built in a board room or with deep pockets.
We're not building a customer list. We're building a collective. The Pioneers, players who refuse to look like everyone else on the court.
Our Grit. Your Expression.
If that's you, you're already one of us.
